Eastern Star Cruises, Inc. is pleased to announce its official relocation from Manhattan to Long Island, making it the only luxury charter yacht operating out of the North Shore of Long Island and Connecticut. The elegant, 85-foot classic yacht is now docked at the Glen Cove Ferry Terminal and will focus on private charters from Glen Cove, Port Jefferson, as well as Greenwich, Stamford, and Norwalk, CT.
Eastern Star Yacht Charters has been actively searching for less congested cruising grounds from which to offer high-end events. Upon reaching out in regard to bringing this successful business to the Glen Cove waterfront, Mayor Tim Tenke and his staff were absolutely delighted. Following several weeks of discussion, the move was confirmed on Friday, May 17, 2019 when Mayor Tenke welcomed Eastern Star to its new homeport in Glen Cove, Long Island through Facebook.
With this relocation, Motor Yacht Eastern Star will continue to offer exceptional service and cuisine without the need for guests to travel into Manhattan. Now easily accessible on Long Island’s North Shore, Motor Yacht Eastern Star will offer the same upscale “Manhattan experience” on its Long Island and Connecticut charters without the hefty relocation fees.
Charters have already begun at the new Glen Cove Ferry Terminal dock located at 73 Garvies Point Road. Guests of the Easter Star will be greeted by a brand new, beautifully maintained docking facility with free parking, as well as a waiting area and restrooms inside the terminal.
This is an exciting milestone for both Eastern Star and the Glen Cove community, with a ribbon cutting ceremony to be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 to commemorate.
